Serpent's Tail Stream
This wild highland river provides a boundary between the Crescent plain and the fertile foothills of the Serpent Hills. Though the headwaters are unclear on many maps, innumerable streams and rivulets converge to form a rocky and swift moving river. During dry seasons there are several areas that can be forded with relative safety but during the rainy season and spring time the river becomes a raging torrent that is unpassable on foot. The Serpent’s Tail Stream becomes a tributary to the Winding Water at the South end of the Crescent Plain..
